At the heart of Kazura’s culinary offerings is the bounty from the adjacent Nishinoura fishing port. Each day’s catch determines the menu, with fish masterfully prepared in three traditional methods: boiled, grilled, and fried. These delicacies are paired with steamed rice, heartwarming miso soup, assorted side dishes, and fresh sashimi, culminating in a meal that epitomizes the essence of Japanese coastal dining.
Owner and culinary maestro, Mr. Kento Koga, boasts two decades in the gastronomic realm. A native of the region and an avid fishing enthusiast, Koga believes in the elegance of simplicity. His mantra, “True luxury lies in simplicity,” is evident in the meticulously crafted dishes that highlight the natural flavors of the sea.
The restaurant’s signature glistening white rice is a testament to this philosophy, pot-cooked using grains sourced from revered local farmers and served alongside the day’s fresh catch.
