Shiraito no Mori is a natural cycle farm that opened in 2018 with the concept of creating a place where people can gather through agriculture and food. The entrance is marked by the ‘Itoshima Shichiza,’ seven wooden objects along the road leading to Shiraito Falls.
On-site, you’ll find ‘Shiraito Udon Yasuji,’ popular for its tempura made from pesticide-free, fertilizer-free vegetables grown on the farm, and ‘Mori no Cafe Midori no Oto’.
Inside these establishments, you can buy original processed products, such as pickles and jams made from homemade vegetables and fruits that you can’t buy even at direct sales stores.
In ‘Mori no Okashiya Midori no Oto,’ there is a treehouse-like wooden deck space spread out in a grove of cedar trees. It has become a topic of conversation overseas through Instagram.
The place buzzes with many tourists on holidays, where you can enjoy drinks and sweets while experiencing forest bathing.
The ‘Kids Farm’ offers parents and children the opportunity to participate in various seasonal farming experiences such as rice planting and soybean sowing, all according to an annual schedule. Applications for participation can be made from the website.
