Sennyoji-daihioin, founded in 742 AD, features a temple on Raizan Mountain built in 1752 by Kuroda Tsugutaka. It houses nationally significant cultural assets, including Kamakura-era wooden Senju Kannon and Shonin Seiga statues, and Fukuoka Prefecture’s designated Tamonten and Jikokuten statues. The temple is also a popular spot for autumn foliage viewing.
