Kenji Hayashi, the founder of Sunset Cafe, Itoshima’s legendary beach cafe in Futamigaura in the early nineties, breaks new territory in August 2019 with the opening of Itoshima’s first seaside campground. Located just ten minutes on foot from JR Dainyu Sta., the lush grounds with access to a sandy beach, ideal for swimming or fishing, also boasts a view of the mountains to the south. Viewed from wooden decks nestled amongst the trees, this is the stuff childhood treehouse dreams are made of! Currently, Thevplatform desks each have a washbasin and BBQ areas.
