Sunset Live may have ended, but the music in a laid-back Itoshima setting continues! Live @ Dover is a series of spring and autumn events that spotlight both established musicians and fresh new talent. This autumn—though it may not quite feel like it yet—features THE YELLOW, a techno-acoustic duo with a didgeridoo twist who performed earlier this year! Also taking the stage is Gaijinja, known for his quirky acoustic J-pop songs. The evening will also mark the debut of Edie’s, a pair of 13-year-olds performing their original songs and popular covers.
Entry is ¥1,500, with proceeds shared between the artists and the venue owner. As a family-friendly event, junior high school students can join for just ¥500, and elementary school kids get in for free! Dover Itoshima, a zakka and art studio, is run by James, who showcases his unique artwork at the venue. Come relax in the vine-covered greenhouse, explore the unique trinkets and art, and enjoy a night of great music this Saturday evening!
