John Lemon, a popular lemonade stand in Itoshima known for its commitment to local ingredients, celebrates its third anniversary on Nov 23 (Labor Thanksgiving Day). Owners Koichiro and Yukari grow their own lemons and regularly appear at events across Fukuoka. Their dedication and warm personalities have made them a beloved part of the local landscape.
This year’s anniversary theme is “Gandhara”—offering a moment of peace for those who work hard every day. Friends and collaborators of John Lemon will gather in Keya, Itoshima, for a relaxed, festival-style event featuring multicultural food, clothing, crafts, antiques, art, and music. Alongside their signature lemonade, exclusive one-day-only menu items will be available. The event also includes live African music and workshops. Spend a laid-back day at the scenic tip of the Itoshima Peninsula, where forest meets sea.
