The Aquathlon competition, a thrilling sport that challenges both swimming and long-distance running, excluding the cycling component from a traditional triathlon, will be held in the scenic Itoshima area, at Keya. This exciting opportunity allows participants to test their dual prowess in water and land.
The Itoshima competition consists of various categories:
The main event covering 11.5km (3 laps of 500m sea swim, 4 laps of 2.5km run)
A shorter challenge course totaling 5.5km
A 3.3km course for high school students
A 2.2km course for 4th to 6th-grade elementary students
A 1.1km course for younger elementary students
