This annual citizen marathon takes place each November, drawing 13,000 runners who set off from Watanabe-dori in central Tenjin. The route winds from the cityscape toward natural scenery, passing through areas like Seaside Momochi, Iki-no-Matsubara, and Futamigaura, before reaching Itoshima. Spectators line the course to cheer on participants, and the finish line features local specialties from Fukuoka and Itoshima as a warm welcome for the runners. With minimal elevation changes, the course is beginner-friendly and enjoyable for both participants and supporters.
