An exhibition by landscape painter Chihiro Miyata, known for her depictions of Itoshima, will be held at Kozai no Mori (former Nishihara Residence), a preserved historical building in Maebaru Shopping Street. This marks the finale of the Itoshima Impressionist Exhibition series, held annually since 2018. Miyata’s works capture Itoshima’s nature and light with a nostalgic warmth that feels more authentic than photography. There will be live performances, a tea ceremony, and a talk by the artist (admission required, advance reservation needed).
