Top professional golfers from Japan and abroad compete for a total prize purse of ¥100 million at a prestigious course in the resort area of Itoshima. Now in its 52nd year, the tournament has a summer festival theme, with music, gourmet food, and outdoor activities for all ages, drawing one of the largest galleries on the men’s tour. Players enter to their favorite songs, and visitors with their own bottles can enjoy free barley tea and water.
