Under the clear autumn sky, the annual “Itoshima Beer Farm” event takes place in a vast edamame field in Itoshima. Participants can harvest edamame grown in the beautiful natural surroundings, boil it on-site, and enjoy it fresh from the field. Pair the freshly picked edamame with a Kirin beer made from locally grown barley for a perfect match! There will also be various local dishes available, including grilled game skewers, Itoshima-grown vegetables, deep-fried local shrimp, and hot sandwiches. Visitors can enjoy activities like trailer rides and even a whole roasted wild boar, celebrating the autumn harvest in the fields.
It is recommended to wear boots or sneakers and clothes that you don’t mind getting dirty.
