Traveling circus troupe Pierock Ichiza, known for touring Japan with a small circus tent mounted on a truck, presents the final show of its 2025 tour in Itoshima. Led by ringmaster Pie and deputy Cherry, the performance features expressive handmade mechanical puppets inspired by yokai and spirits, along with trick stages, street performance, and live music. The hand-crafted circus follows the theme “Invisible beauty over surface beauty,” unfolding a gentle story that lingers with both adults and children. The marche open two hours before the performance begins, offering winter-warming treats such as mochi, sea bream ramen, and pizza. As the venue is by the seaside, visitors are advised to dress warmly.
